The Faith in Waiting

One of the most challenging parts of this journey, the part that requires the most faith, is waiting for the release. And when I say release, I’m talking about that moment when Threaded Truth gains enough momentum to place my family in a position of financial independence. A time when we won’t have to work unless we choose to, and we can fully focus on the ministry God has called us to.

But as I reflect, even right now, I’m reminded of something significant. When Jesus called His disciples, they weren’t sitting around waiting. They were working. Their release came in the midst of their labor. They were fishing, collecting taxes, doing work outside of the ministry they were about to walk into. And yet, that’s where Jesus met them. That’s where He called them.

Another part of this faith walk has been dealing with unexpected silence. Realizing that some of the people I thought would be immediate supporters are not. That part stings. It’s easy to assume those closest to you will naturally cheer the loudest. But I’m learning that God sometimes builds your foundation through strangers, not familiarity. And that’s okay. Because if I’m looking to people for validation, I’m missing the point. God is my source, not products, not platforms, and not people.

So while I wait, I do so with expectation, like the prodigal father, watching with an outstretched neck. I’m trusting that God will fulfill the promises He made to me concerning Threaded Truth.

In this moment, I’m anchored in Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” And when Scripture says “all these things,” it’s not about chasing material wealth. In context, Jesus is assuring us that we won’t have to worry about basic needs, what we’ll eat, drink, or wear. He even tells us not to worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow has its own concerns.

What I’m learning is this: trusting God isn’t easy, but it’s necessary. It’s the only way to witness His power unfold in your life.

My prayer is that, as you wait, you’ll do so with the same faith-filled anticipation and that you’ll begin to see the fingerprints of God in motion long before the breakthrough arrives.
